About me: Welcome to the Return to Oz Myspace page! Dedicated to the 1985 Walt Disney Movie Return to Oz. It is the Land of Oz but not like you know it. This is no musical and Oz is not how we remember it. It has been taken over by an evil villian known as the Nome King. He has kidnaped the Scarecrow, ruined the Emerald City as well as the Yellow Brick Road, and turned everyone into stone. Everyone except his accomplis the Evil Witch, Princess Mombi. He has promised her 30 Beautiful maiden's heads to keep a secret for him and gave her an army of Wheelers. And oz would have stayed that way until Dorothy "Returns to Oz".

I dreamt of this movie for years and always thought of it, but I couldn't remember what it was called (I was really little when I saw it). The movie's images have always stayed vivid in my mind....AWESOME MOVIE!!!
Whoopsadaisies! I am so sorry! I meant Jean Marsh, not June! Oh, oh! This is what happens when one lacks sleep; one becomes careless. I apologise. It just so happens that not only did Jean Marsh play Mombi, but also two other actresses, they being Fiona Victory & Sophie Ward. See what a little patient research will do?
