I've also had the unique opportunity to work, first-hand, with some of the best in the business--as we are members of the same church: Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and J. Moss. They have inspired me in word, song and deed. Additionally I've worked with and I've been inspired by Michael Brooks (formally of Commissioned); his wife Lisa Page-Brooks(a true singer's singer); and the anointed William Murphy III(Praise Is What I Do).
As a preacher I've been inspired by my father (whom I really miss) the late Rev. Samuel Walter Farr, Sr., my grandfather Rev. James E. Farr, Sr. (love ya Papa!), Rev. Leroy Mitchell of the New Hope Baptist Church in De Kalb IL, and my current pastor Supt. John Drew Sheard of the Greater Emmanuel Institutional C.O.G.I.C.--DETROIT!!!
