WHO IS WALTER WAITERS?
I’ve been in the music business for more than 15 years in one capacity or another. I’ve done it all and seen it all, first as a music store owner and then promoting shows and artists. I’ve come full circle and I’ve never met anyone quite like Walter. He’s not only a talented performer...he’s genuine. True to himself, true to his music and true to his fans. I’ve seen many of his performances and they seem to get better each and every time.
One of the many things I like about Walter is his ability to walk out on stage and just be WALTER. He makes it "do what it do". It doesn’t matter if he is playing to a crowd of 500 or a crowd of 50 or even just 5. The show must go on! When people come to see him they leave feeling like they have made a new friend. The best part is they keep coming back for more and he keeps right on giving them more.
I don’t know if he will ever be "the next big thing". What I do know is that Walter Waiters will leave an indelible mark on the world of music and entertainment. Will he be remembered in the far away future? In deed he will. Not just for his music....but for himself. He’s kind and he’s honorable. He’s Charismatic and he’s talented. Quite frankly I can’t find a reason he would be forgotten.
I’ve heard it said that a one man show can’t make it in this business. But think about it...it takes 7 people to do what he does. And he does it so well. Music is his second love...his daughter is his first love. Walter doesn’t just write a song, he writes a story. A story that makes you listen and relate to it.
But listen, don’t take my word for it. Go check him out. Go to his web site and find out if he’s at a venue near you. I promise you’ll be so glad you did! Don’t just go see his show. Meet him and talk to him....you’ll be glad you did that too!
