Lol...its Electrical Theory for Mechanical Operators...basically its a class that reminds us why were MM's and not EM's or ET's...its called a cross-rate subject...they like us to know a little bit about everything that we all do as Nukes to have a better understanding of why and how everything works together...
Yeah, its a set date...dunno why so far away but I don't mind...I don't wanna do it at all lol...yeah I got that email...thats awesome...he had told me he thought he made the list but I hadn't heard anything since then. The funny thing is me and him were talkin about some of the classes were takin and what he's doin is very similiar to the classes I've been taking lol.

It looks like it will be 7-9 months total for the deployments, so he should be able to save a good chunk of money while out. But I know he will want to go in port, lol. We'll see how it goes. So happy for Dusty, our guys are doing so well :) Cameron is the same, Jeff is really frustrated with him, and since he is home now, he plans to kick his butt into moving forward with his life. I wish that he would just buckle down, get his GED and get into the military, it would be good for him on all levels, but people have talked him out of it. Aggravating, because he sees how well his brother is doing, but he won't follow his lead.

Oh, and I'm in limbo at Walmart, waiting for them to set up the next orientation. I guess they are running weeks behind, I haven't even heard how my background checks went, but they told me not to worry. My Subway manager is keeping me on the schedule until I get a firm date, which is really nice of her, plus it lets her have to work less on weekends until I leave. Hate being "on hold" like this, but I'm trying to be patient :) Also going to try to poke Jeff into taking a few days and drive to VA... would sure be nice to see Chris and get out of Atlanta.
We're hoping he can take leave next month, as he will be doing the deployment thing soon. And he should be able to come home in December for a bit, wow, it will be a whole year... his finances would be great if he stayed away from the tattoo parlors lol! He's planning to save money for a car during deployment, which is a great idea. Oh, and I think Monday he gets his first promotion, very proud of him :)
