Some of Wanda's poetry has been influenced by the music of her youth. Just a very few of those talented people were/are: Johnny Tillotson, Gene Pitney, Bobby Vinton, The Cascades, The Temptations, The Drifters, The Four Seasons, The Four Tops, et cetera.

Hey Wanda whats up with this one-arm hug .... Is something wrong with you arm???? If we have slipped this then I know we are working to hard. Need a vacation. Even a one-arm hug from you is better than a bunch of two-arm hugs from others. Hit us back...Del
I read your poem about crayons (yes, apparently I only have time to read for pleasure during Spring Break) and a thought struck me. I opened Courtney’s box of crayons and noticed something. Some crayons are points, brand new having never touched paper, while others are well worn and rounded. I realized that the ones Courtney likes the best, she uses over and over. She does not care that the paper is torn or that they may be broken. I had to smile as I think about the way God uses us, even though we may be broken. Just a little AHH-HA for today!
