With Cree roots from Northern Manitoba, Canada, singer/songwriter and self taught musician waNda wilsoN composes material that embodies strength, pain and ultimate identity, but defies definition.
wilsoN's DIY approach to her work began through busking. Busking lead to open mics, house party gigs, functions & eventually into playing at music festivals. She has performed in venues as far as Montreal to Vancouver, Canada. The willingness to learn, share and grow connects her to her path.
With a release date on November 9th, 2009, -Under Donald- a debut project that began under one of down town Winnipeg's busiest bridges remains raw & intact, it is what it is, as one describes “beautifully imperfect".
Now back from Eastern Canada with plans to now waNder out West, Under Donald will be working it's way to a city near you in September of 2010. While sharing shows with many talented musicans, wilsoN continues to seek, create and walk forward on her journey to wherever she may roam...

I'm going to be heading out east this fall I hope to catch one of your shows along the way!!
