Papier Tigre 老虎纸乐队由法国南特市的三名著名摇滚乐手组成--其中包括吉他手Eric Pasquereau,吉他手Arthur de la Grandiere,和鼓手Pierre Antoine Parois.三人相遇之前都是南特市著名摇滚组合中的核心人物--抱着共同的理想和追求三人走在一起创建了这支独一无二音乐风格的法国乐队。由于三位音乐人难以比拟的强大活力与激情自乐队成立之初就显现出相当厉害的实力--这也使他们在不到一年的时间就发行了以自己组合命名的第一张专辑。

The Super Experimental Duo '10' is 'Marqido' from Japan who is alaptop noise artist, and 'itta' from Korea who plays real voice, toys,melodica, accordion and miniature traditional instruments of some nations. Simple and many of layers, noise and lyrical music, electronic and acoustic music.
10's 'one' and 'zero' cannot meet, but they can include each other. 10's music started from that irony. 10 started from the relationships of irony, and 10 can make ironic sound. Their very names are ironic in that Itta is the Korean word for 'exist (1)' while for Marqido, 'Maru' means 'eternity' and 'zero (0)', 'qi' means 'delight' and 'do' means 'angry'.
10 was created on October 10th, 2005 by itta and Marqido. Both members were already active as solo artists before forming this duo. In 2006 they released the Album 'LIVE' and 'UFO E.P' in Japan. After that 10 toured'Asian Tour' (Japan, China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand).
In 2007 the album version of 'UFO' was released, followed by a tour through Asia. In September and October of 2007 they played in Europe,performing at several festivals in France and Spain. That same year itta and Marqido released 'See You New World', together with Li Jianhong. 10 joined the compilation album 'Asian Flashback(PSFRecords)'.

Close to Amon Tobin for the creative mental electro and crushed rythms. We could easliy mention David Shea for his abstract and light experimentations. We could not avoid Kid Loco for his early dreamlike and sensual sounds. And with the amazing creativity of Gong Gong, we couldn't forget The Berg Sans Nipple and their crazy post rock, Spaceheads for the fever delivered by the brass samples mixed with frenetic rythms, The Books for the acoustic DIY and ethereal atmosphere.
After Europe (London, Moscow, Geneva, Prague, Gdansk, Vienne or Valencia), Gong Gong will be touring in South America, Asia, Africa in 2008.

Thee, Stranded Horse is the alias of singer, songwriter and wanderer, Yann Tambour. Playing acoustic guitar and kora – simultaneously at times – Tambour has a crafted a sound like no other. His approach to the kora (the West African harp-lute) is totally non-traditional, but so dazzling that he has often shared the stage with one of the instrument’s greatest living exponents, Ballake Sissoko. The pair’s re-workings of four songs from the Churning Strides album will soon become Thee, Stranded Horse’s second release on Blank Tapes, as a special limited edition vinyl EP, simply entitled Thee, Stranded Horse and Ballake Sissoko. Further live collaborations between the two are planned.
It was Churning Strides which first revealed the extraordinary sounds which Yann had been developing as Thee, Stranded Horse. The music of sub-Saharan Africa – Delta blues – French chanson – the lyrical anarchism of Leo Ferré – the cosmic folk of Marc Bolan’s Tyrannosaurus Rex. All of these may come to mind but none are the key to Thee, Stranded Horse: the key is Yann’s voice and his lyrics – written mostly in his fluent English – their stops, starts and restless shifts from idea to idea.
With the release of Churning Strides, Yann has kept up his relentless touring schedule. As a truly in-demand live performer he has criss-crossed Europe, to play dates in Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and the UK, including some of Europe’s most prestigious music festivals – La Route du Rock in Saint-Malo, France, and The Green Man Festival in Brecon, Wales.
Yann Tambour has previously made music as the founder and orchestrator of Encre, a project which made use of samples, guitars electric and acoustic as well as other live instruments and his own unmistakable voice. Encre’s four albums were released in France to great acclaim by Clapping Music, but Yann made a clean break in 2005, exploring the kora, moving to the Normandy countryside and dreaming up the acoustic reveries and voices of Thee, Stranded Horse. Yann has recently relocated to Bristol, in England’s west country.

Formed in 2003 by Frédéric Conte, Emilie Rougier and Grégoire Bredel, MARVIN provides an original electrorock sound, adding and melting raw vintage synth sounds to a powerfull noise rock base, with influences going from Kraftwerk to Jesus Lizard and from ACDC to Justice, . After 3 years playing everywhere in France and improving its sound, MARVIN putted out its first album in march 2007 and toured two months in europe right after. The album has since received very positives reviews in french press and e-press. It has just been repressed in march 2008. The band is now focused on a three weeks UK tour in may, followed by a China tour in september.

The musicians of Wang Wen come from Dalian, an indusrial city in the north-east of China, one of the largest port in the country.
Their compositions, exclusively instrumental, no other claims that invite the listener to get lost in contemplation of his memories.
Wang Wen feeds on the legacy melodic Chinese traditional instruments like the Gu Qin to express nostalgia for a world of dreams and sensuality, but the band is also influenced by the experimental music that expresses in contrast the stalemate of a real world and superficial, symbolized by sound walls and noise disturbing.
惘闻是来自中国北方大连的一支纯器乐/后摇滚乐队。在惘闻的音乐中充斥了时而甜美时而悲伤的旋律、厚重的吉他音墙甚至传统的中国五声音阶。闭上双眼--你会很容易陷进惘闻音乐所营造的意境--或者说在他们的音乐中--你能够错觉般的浮现出你做过的一个梦或者你看过的一部电影的情景。惘闻认为有词或者唱的音乐会很容易的引导听者按照歌者所希望的方式思维--所以他们放弃了词和唱--试图通过音乐构造出了一个开方式的听觉场--让听者进入这个场并有自由的思考空间。
惘闻的音乐受到下面这些乐队和音乐的影响--Tortoise, Mogwai, Mono, EITS, Red Red Meat, the Montreal Scene, Low, 古琴, Yo La Tengo, Polvo……
