My colonized name is Wanita Bird. My Indian name you will hear should i ever meet you in ceremony. My beautiful family and I live in Saskatchewan. Toon town. aka. Saskatoon. We are Cree, Saulteaux and Souix.
My hopes for the albums are to give back to these sacred Ceremonial ways in respectful ways based upon the principals of love, hope, faith and charity.
I have much love for everyone. I should add that before the medicine found me and pitied me I was lost in a world of addiction and other symptoms of residential school. Now I am blessed to hold this NAC way of life close to my heart. I am going on 8 years of sobriety. I worked for 7 years in Vancouver n Surrey helping our people who were still searching. It was an honor to help our people. Now i moved home to the praries in hopes of continuing to serve Creator in trying to help others in the best possible way that i can.
My sister once told me. Why wouldn't I help you? We are in this life together aren't we?? This is my mantra.
