WANKERS OF THE ZOO CREW is a rock group, founded in Helsinki, Finland early 2006. This handsome fivesome strive to create seemingly individual English rock music nonetheless coated with commercial seasoning in the spirit of FAITH NO MORE, SOAD and QUEEN, just to mention a few. .... Vocalist/songwriter of REPRINTED for eleven years, TOMMI SALMELAINEN, gathered around him unsuspecting musicians who were not afraid to take part in his modest vision of making WOTZC the best act in the world. .... The drums fell naturally to the former Reprinted drummer, easy-going HARRI KUOSMANEN. .... Harri's former workmate TOMMI SALOMAA earned the keyboardist's place for his great skills and ideas - along his first name. .... Late August 2008 gifted bass player, VESA PÄNNÄRI, answered the wanted-ad and without a doubt he was welcomed to join the WOTZC. .... After a two year post the guitarist TOMI JULKUNEN called it a day and decided to give his undivided attention to his band THE MILESTONES. But against all odds the first choice from 2006 for guitarist, JUHA-PEKKA TIAINEN, had found some spare time with his band TRINITY and showed the interest of becoming a Wanker. .... Encouraged by the responses of the listeners and audience of vibrant gigs and single releases Wankers of the Zoo Crew will continue to pursue its unrealistic goal of succeeding with its untrendy concept. The crazy but beautiful songs of WOTZC verges on originality, and the impossibility of playing to the gallery will not be admitted. -
