Wannapa Pimtong-Eubanks was born in Ayutthaya,Thailand. She has found her passion in a dance field as a butoh*performer since 2000, a few years after she came to USA. She is inspired by Natsu Nakajima,Yumiko Yoshioka,and Marianne Kim. She has performed her choreography through out Chicago venues including the Athenaeum Theatre, the Chicago Cultural Center, Hamlin Park Theatre, and Links Hall, which are "The Rebirth of Pain",in the 2003 PAC/Edge Festival,"A Moment of Jane Doe",in the 3rd Annual Full Circle Danztheatre Festival 2006,"Trapped",in "Joie de Vivre"event tribute to Hurricane Katrina survivors and victims [2007], "Manimal"in John Cage's Musicircus 2007, "White Balloon" in Method to Madness Festival 2008,and "Awakening" in Audio-Visual Soul Theatre Festival 2008. She has performed for Meredith Monk[community cast],Marianne Kim,Becca Hopson in LinkUp Choreographer's Showcase,Laura Crotte's "Blood Wedding" in Spanish[Nido de Mar Theatre]presented at Goodman Theatre and Raven Theatre,Redmoon Theatre, Kimberly Senior[in Estrogen Fest 2005],Janet Schmid's"Pilotless",and Drive by Performance Series 2005,Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble [formerly Adler Danztheatre Project] of which she is recently invited to be a company member. Wannapa has studied with Natsu Nakajima,Katsura Kan,Akira Kasai,Marianne Kim,Mei-Kuang Chen,and Wen Ching-ching of Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan. She has also been trained in Acting at Act I studios in Chicago. Most of all,she feels very grateful to her family for their loving and supporting.
