War Child is a charity which works with children affected by war in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. You can read more about us and our work here. So why, I hear you cry, is a charity based on a music page? Well, given our history there seems no other logical place to be!
War Child and Music go way back! We have been heavily involved with the music industry for a number of years, from our release of the original Help! album in ’95 right up to our latest fundraising gigs and our much anticipated Heroes album.
Over the years, War Child has established itself as the charity socialite of the music world, with an army of artists and musicians who are willing to donate their time and talent to the cause. From the hottest new acts to some of the greatest legends in music history – we simply wouldn’t be able to produce our fantastic albums or gigs without them.
Our main site is where you can learn all about War Child and the work we do and our music section, offers a multitude of musical treats.
If you’re a new band, War Child can help! We’ve teamed up with indiestore.com to help new bands cut out the hassle of dealing with labels and chasing that elusive deal.
