On august 1999 this devastating machine was begun to create, wich initial name was
Awfulness, this name was used by one year. This time employed to seek for what we really want to transmit musically and for define the path that the band will follow, counting on the initial alignment with Elvia at guitar, Carlos at bass, Antonio at vocals and Victor at drums. It started to compose original metal and to play in some local shows, so the crowd starts to know the band and follow its steps. Months later, the squad was complemented with the incorporation of Arturo to reinforce the guitar and vocals exhausts. With a solid alignment, and having a clear ideology and thematic in mind, which is spreading this death plague to ears of every metal fan, we choose to change the band..s name to give it more force and presence, and this is how Warcrusher replaced Awfulness.
In july 2001, the band records its first detonation Engendering kataklismic wrath, which was available on january 2002 under the label of American line productions. It distribution on metal scene got a very good acceptation in our country and Internationally. Warcrusher started to visit several states of the republic sharing stage with great bands as: Anarchus, Disgorge, Prohibitory, Pigsty Pulverized, Raped god, Oxidased razor, Etc.
In july of the same year, when the vocalist Antonio decided to leave the band because some compromises independent of Warcrusher, we accorded, some meetings after that Arturo will lead vocals, having the experience of had sung in a previous band ( Domain Rip ), and keep going with the shows, and had the opportunity of being part of some important tours as: Brutal fest 02, Demonic latin tour, nest to Pandemia ( checks republics ), Death metal legions tour ( American line prods. ) and the Infernal fest with Impiety ( Sing-Mèx. ), and otherwise to be considered to open international concerts with bands like Deep red ( finland ) Terrorist ( argentina ) and Behemoth ( poland ), this one without the force of two guitars, and with Antonio our ex vocalist, help because of Arturo..s health problems. He suffered Hepatitits, and the band was concerned since August 2004.
The band decided not to play until our partner recovered his health totally, in the mean time, the other integrants keep practicing and perfecting all the details of the new musick, which was being working since two years back, and which was supposed to be recorded at the last month of 2004. In april 2005 Warcrusher come back with more strength and hate to keep devastating the hearing visiting again some cities and recapturing teh rhythm that was lost while the band was on inactivity.
Recovered from all troubles, Warcrusher enter to studio from August to October 2005 to give form to all rage accumulated on four long years.
