Spawned in 2002 in Auckland, New Zealand, Ward 10 have been making waves and playing to enthusiastic, enthralled and, at times, sickened crowds ever since. Comments on our sound range from "a non-stop mind-f..@king roller coaster of electro-metal pounding sickness!!!" to "a seamless 50 minute stomping collection of technically proficient epic tracks that pound you in the head continuously then stop to let you take a breath before thumping you in the face yet again...!"
Ward 10 are everything but conventional with 50 minute songs and a backing track of beats including samples, bizarre noises and even a trumpet solo! Plus, where else are you gonna see a gimp playing an electrified cello!
In Sept 2007 our long awaited debut album was spawned! It has received great reviews and radio play around the country (see below for details to buy). The first video for the track To Be Normal has been on Alt TV and C4 and again has gained great feedback (view below). Oct-Dec 07 then saw us embark on our first world tour of the North Island to support the record! It was a massive release of kick ass kiwi metal and was fantastic to finally take the show on the road and play in front of new people and meet tonnes of like minded folk and also scare a few along the way!
Shortly after the album come out we had a track featured on the Kill City Vol 6 CD which was released in the US to radio stations across the country and is on sale at hotspot such us Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard etc as well as online on Amazon!
2008 saw Gimpy being a Dad for the first time… so has been a little quieter for us but behind the scenes there’s always things going on. In the pipeline we have a lot of web site updates, new merch, a DVD single release of the To Be Normal video with bonus footage and also a DVD documenting our antics from our recent tour!
2009 has seen us featured on the first ever Slaughterama compilation CD! And we will also be on the next SIC magazine CD as well! Plus we'll be doing more shows and unleashing our killer new material as a taste of what our second album has in store! We have just released our first ever DVD, see above. Also we have another DVD coming documenting the Price of Being Normal World Tour of the North Island from 2007 with Just One Fix!

I pretty much have to work the whole day...boo for economic growth by laboring workers. Yeah I probably won't be celebrating or anything. I mean really it's just another number to tell you systematically that you are a year older & I'm going to be tired tomorrow.or I may do a little friends get together over the weekend or something like that, but not going to go big like last year. Last year was the big american 21st yeah it was weird because it was a sunday and sundays bars are not open so I got trashed in a basement and woke up on the side of the road by my apartment.
