Nov 09 - We are currently in pre production for recording our second record! We’re massively pumped up for this enormous task and have heaps of inspiration and ideas for what looks to us like being a massive record of huge metal riffs done in the unique Ward 10 way! We cant wait to get it out! Also Gimpy is about to have his second son and his wife cant wait to get that out too!

BIO
Spawned in 2002 in Auckland, New Zealand, Ward 10 have been making waves and playing to enthusiastic, enthralled and, at times, sickened crowds ever since. Comments on our sound range from "a non-stop mind-f..@king roller coaster of electro-metal pounding sickness!!!" to "a seamless 50 minute stomping collection of technically proficient epic tracks that pound you in the head continuously then stop to let you take a breath before thumping you in the face yet again...!"
Ward 10 are everything but conventional with 50 minute songs and a backing track of beats including samples, bizarre noises and even a trumpet solo! Plus, where else are you gonna see a gimp playing an electrified cello!
In Sept 2007 our long awaited debut album was spawned! It has received great reviews and radio play around the country (see below for details to buy). The first video for the track To Be Normal has been on Alt TV and C4 and again has gained great feedback. We then embarked on our first world tour of the North Island to support the record! It was a massive release of kick ass kiwi metal and was fantastic to finally take the show on the road and play in front of new people and meet tonnes of like minded folk and also scare a few along the way!
Shortly after the album come out we had a track featured on the Kill City Vol 6 CD which was released in the US to radio stations across the country and is on sale at hotspot such us Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard etc as well as online on Amazon!
2008 saw Gimpy being a Dad for the first time… so was a little quieter for us but behind the scenes there was always things going on.
2009 has seen us featured on the first ever Slaughterama compilation CD! And we will also be on the next SIC magazine CD as well! We also released our first ever DVD (see above.) And we unleashed killer new material at shows this year to road test what will be on the new record. From the feedback we got it looks like you think it’ll be as huge as we do!
Also in the pipeline is another DVD documenting the Price of Being Normal World Tour of the North Island from 2007 with Just One Fix! Plus we have a lot of web site updates, new merch, and video footage coming!
