I was born in Ohio, went to school in Chicago. After a short stint in Los Angeles, I moved to New York and worked as a Production Supervisor and Producer on various PBS documentaries and pledge shows. In 1999 I incorporated my own production company and finally started to work as a writer/director of theatre and film. My stage work earned me the Jean Dalrymple Award for Best Director in 2002. My 2003 short film “In Their Absence” has screened in over a dozen film festivals around the world and was awarded five times both domestically and abroad. It is currently available through Big Film Shorts. Two other short works “Thank the War” and “Salutatorian” have each brought home festival awards. I have also been honored for my work as a student and as a screenwriter for my feature script in development “A Minor Second.” In 2004, I directed the successful run of Colin P. Delaney’s “The Red Mollies”. My first feature film “Red Molly” an adaptation of the 2004 stage play premiered in June 2007 in New York City. In 2007 I directed Christine Sohn’s short film “Irresistible”.
