i live to eat. no, really. French Laundry, check. Providence, sure. Gary Danko, yes. Tru, bien sur. Stonehill Tavern, and caviar....why yes! Wait, I still love a good Chipotle carnitas, Daphne's gyro, or Loft Hawaiian bacon fried rice. Chai Latte or Shaken Tea (Passion) Lemonade at Starbucks, Pellegrino with lime, and mojitos rule. I live for breakfast. I'm open to most cuisines, as long as they don't burn my tongue. I think Vietnamese, Mediterranean, Hawaiian, and classic American fare are my guiltiest pleasures. I also find myself eating more Orbit Mint Mojito gum. The other love in my life is my MINI Cooper. Now if only I could own a Welsh Corgi, then we'd be all set.
Oh yeah, to offset my dining habits, I've taken to more physical activity. In a typical week, I'm now at yoga and spin class. Oh yeah, that also includes jogging around the neighborhood and conditioning for my favorite 10k (the infamous Camp Peddleton Mud Run). I have more energy than most people think.
Music
What's on the pink iPod mini?
Cake, R.E.M., Crowded House,(everything I love from) Jack Johnson, Josh Groban (I love you!), also Snow Patrol, they rock. Note: Need to add more Red Hot Chili Peppers
I prefer independant over mainstreem. The Italian Job is ALWAYS a joy to watch. Same with The American President. I truly enjoyed March of the Penguins. The Aristocrats was *^%(ing hilarious. Cowboy Bebop, well that is a fine piece of anime. i'm a sucker for Bond films with Roger Moore or Pierce Brosnan. Oh, hey, Groundhog Day was on...that was a nice movie. Did anyone watch Walk the Line? That was the best! I cannot believe they sang their own songs. Match Point was intense, and Chronicles of Narnia made me cry. Why didn't I watch Curious George sooner? Soooo good. Inside Man was complicated but intelligent. Thank You for Smoking is my favorite movie this year. God Bless J.J. Abrams and M:I 3. Al Gore's An Inconvienient Truth was excellent. OMG - did you *see* Little Miss Sunshine?! Has to rank in my all-time list. Stranger Than Fiction was ridiculous good. 3:10 to Yuma, what a western! Juno ~ a cautionary whale. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, c'est manifique.
Post-WGA strike shows to include Mad Men, Psych, Gossip Girl, Best Week Ever, and Without a Trace. Dare I say it? I'm also watching Dirt.
Reality TV features Top Chef and Dancing With the Stars. Am I crazy enough to even consider The Bachelor. If he has a British accent, hell yes.
I find myself reading more Real Simple & Entertainment Weekly, but when I do read - here are some I've covered: The Namesake, Interpreter of Maladies, blink. I'm finishing The Tipping Point, and just started The Diving Bell & The Butterfly.
Heroes
my brother, Caro, russ, and Lorelai Gilmore.
Rice: The ultimate Filipino food. Simple and goes
with everything.
Who I'd like to meet: People who can appreciate the following quote, "One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well." ~ Virginia Wolfe

Hi there! Long time no see! I found a restaurant I have to tell you about--Pete's in L.A. kind of a sketchy area (Skid Row-adjacent) but great food and a non-pretentious NY vibe. I've had the steak and blue cheese fries twice now. Hope you can try it next time you're downtown. www.petescafe.com Take care!
Hey...thought that I would say hello. How's the wedding planning going? Hope all is well with you...please say hi to Jack for me. Hope to see you soon =)
