    Our band started out in 1984,when 6 year old Theolynn & 5 year old Mace,started writing and performing. At first it was for family and friends,then parties,school events,and talent shows. Fast forward to 1988 with luck and ingenuity,Wardrobe Cathedral played their fist of two club gigs. The first at an underground club called Water the Bush,(which boasted other stage regulars such as; Red Hot Chili Peppers,Bad Brains,Ice-T,Robert Trujillio,Fishbone,& many other members of the alternative underground scene.)The other gig was at the world famous Roxy,both located in Hollywood Ca. Although we were under age,we looked much older. We befriended many club promoters because of our unique "look" at that time,and they thought our novelty was a crowd draw. Even to this day, how many female fronted bands,have an African-American lead singer/guitarist/song writer,that looks like a Playboy Bunny but sounds like a big hairy white guy? And the sound you say? Across the board The reviews from the critics were great all agreeing Wardrobe Cathedral were a band with a "New" sound to be reckoned with. Putting bastardized versions like Metallica & Megadeath meets Black Sabbath,Black Flag meets Danzig,Bad Brains meets Iggy Pop,Howlin Wolf meets Death- Metal,all of which summerize different. Many shows and opportunities later, today Wardrobe Cathedral still stands before the masses,ready to infultrate their musical disease upon the likes there of. Though many of W.C's friends were in the music business, it wasn't until these last two years, that they decided to make music their business. The industry is full of cookie cutter molds of the same regurgatated formula. In the punk/metal/alternative generes its never been more prevalent. The band has played the club scene in the 80's,90's and the 00's. Wardrobe Cathedral has played with many bands & musicians in the scene that are successful or have gone on to future success. Many of which opened up for them. Some of them are; Sublime, Sonic Youth, John 5 of Marilyn Manson, Pantera, Cypress Hill, Linkin Park, Coal Chamber, System of a Down, The Mentors, The Dead Kennedys, Suicidal Tendencies, Slash & Duff from Guns and Roses, Sebastian Bach from Skid Row, Billy Idol, Members of Fishbone, Members of Alice in Chains, Kyuss and a host of others. It takes time to break through,but Wardrobe Cathedral believes the public does not reflect the industry of dying has beens, holding on to their fake impossible American Dream. The bottom line is if you refuse to buy into what you are fed and make your voices heard,the coorperations will have no choice but to adhere to what you want, instead of vice versa. Musical Anarchy is nigh!
