Formed in 2003 at the tail end of the Nu-Metal Depression as the 4-piece Bonestorm. Warhawk was formed at a time when thrash was pronounced dead. Megadeth was broken up, Guitars were in drop-z tunings, solos were some how stupid and hardcore sounded nothing like Black Flag.
Since 2003 Warhawk, which features:,John Savel(Drums),Eric Provenza(Vocals,Guitar),Nick Horan(Guitar) and Andrew Harris(bass), has been punishing audiences all across Central Pa, building a steady cult following that has flourished into an all out metal scene.
Armed with 2 ep's, A DATE WITH DESTINY, which features tracks such as, Dawn of the Shred and Vengeance. The then 4 piece(featuring Nick on vocals) yielded the finest material taken from the earlier days of the band.
The recently released Death From Above Ep(taken from a transitional name DFA)shows the bands sound has expanded considerably with addition of Vocalist, Nate Tyson(Drummer of Ressurectum).
The DFA ep is a confident edict from a band devout to cause of moving thrash forward instead of keeping it in the past. The bands sound yields an exciting blend of influences outside of thrash metal while never losing sight of the genre's roots and forefathers.
Rapid fire vocals are barked with an intensity reminiscent of Billy Milano. The vocals fit perfectly with lyrical topics ranging from cannibalistic soccer teams(Hungry are the Damned) to cannabis-alistic party houses(Laid to Waste) and even an account of the Cult of Koresh(Unholy Martyr). Classic thrash riffing meets Atheist style grooves. Duel leads with distinct styles and Thin Lizzy-equse guitar harmonies are prevalent on top of a rhythm section that encompasses hints of everything from DRI to Black Sabbath.
These 5 guys are on the front lines of the Heavy Metal War. Hell bent on bringing thrash education to poseurs everywhere, Join the Warhawk Army and Grab your guns and kick some ass, Fighting for the true Warhawk metal mass!
You guys should call The Championship and inquire about getting Walkure on the bill ASAP. They still have it listed as more TBA, and if no one else is on, that is only 3 bands.
Awesome set last night...and the new song was killer. I still can't hear out of my left ear...I don't know what that's about, but I'm sure I'll fine. Excellent performance as always!

Meltdown dropped off the Exmortus tour... Here is the message.
Hey man,
Sorry to be the first one to tell you, but we had to drop off the Exmortus tour for a number of reasons. The only old demo we still have for sale is the Executioner demo we released in August of 2007. Let us know if you'd like to purchase a copy, and we'll fill you in on the details. Thanks!

Hey, I am going to see you guys October 1st with Exmortus, and a shitload of my friends' bands. I wanted to know if there was anyway I could purchase your old demos... Get back to me when you guys get the time. I am a huge fan, but you guys moved before I ever found out about you. Thanks dudes, I really appreciate it.
Great, fast set. Excellent job as always! Though after I saw Revenge on the set list, I grew depressed that Club19 cut you before the last fucking song on the whole list.
Think you'll be playing the Halloween show at the Champ? I think you could do 'Show No Mercy' some justice - enough to make Slayer proud. You know you want to...
