| About Warhead |
|
"In 2007, Philip and Masoor formed Warhead as a 100% Thrash metal act. Warhead were one of the few bands with two bass players (one bass distorted, one undistorted), to give an overpowering sound. After looking for a while, lead guitarist Luke joined the band. After that, Warhead was covering old school thrash songs by bands like Exodus, Metallica, Slayer, all that shit. Until, Warhead decided to start making their own music. That's when session guitarist, drum programmer and producer Alex was brought into the mix (just for their first few demo songs). So, after making a few songs that were put onto a 2007 demo, Philip (being the leader of the band), kicked Masoor out due to him not being faithful to the band. Not long after, Luke and Philip split apart, again, due to him not being faithful to the band. Not long after THAT, Alex and Philip split apart due to musical differences and personal conflicts. Warhead was a one man band. For a few months, Warhead were going to break up, but instead, Philip brought lead guitarist Conor, and (LIVE!!) drummer Cian into the mix, as permanent members. So, Conor, Cian and Philip jammed for a while, and soon, Alex and Philip put aside their differences. Alex was made a full-time member of the band, as a rhythm guitarist. Since then, Warhead has been making powerful old-school tunes, and are much stronger than ever before."
