In creating a biography of Terrence King a novel comes to mind, so to keep it brief. He has been blessed to have been mentored by platinum recording producers during his introduction to the music business in Jacksonville Florida 1985. He followed his passion for music by countless writing and producing for a number of aspiring artists in Orlando Florida until he acquired an epiphany to produce record and distribute his own material in 1997. Establishing an independent record label entitled War Kings Records, from which he released a full length (parental advisory) CD called Dirty Red “Veteran’s Day”. He was able to sell 10,000 copies in 3 months, enabling him to land a distribution deal with Fortune Ent./ Anasi Records in 1998. Negotiating of that deal soon went sour due to no co-operations from the parent label Fortune Ent. To promote the project, so Terrence King departed from the Fortune Ent and continued to press on releasing (5) independent full- length CD’s to date. His 5th and present gospel rap CD is entitled “G.O.E.” ( God Over Everything) and after listening to this CD will surely give you a broader vision of what this Artist has been through and where he plans on going. In the beginning of Terrence King’s music career he was influenced by Slick Rick, Krs -1, Rakim, and LL –Cool J, now he is inspired by GOD.
