"Happily I have so excessive a character that I am nearly incapable of sororotising with my peers." -Lillian Bloodghert, the Woman whose Demon I Travelled 1600 miles to Meet

You boys and girls are too young to understand this yet, but it's endless desire that makes us human, that binds our spirits to flesh that it would rather do without. Even now, at this young age, you know the discontent of wanting something and not yet having it, and not even knowing the name of the thing that you want. This is why it's good manners to give gifts in wrappers: so that, for a moment, the beast in all of us that makes us feel alive and keeps us from becoming angels can be satisfied. While a gift is in its wrapper it can be anything, even that one indescribable thing that will make us happy enough to die in peace."

"When the machines came, and they drove away the angels from the world, they ruined everything. Each time I hear of one of these new, so-called miracle inventions, it weakens my faith in the underlying order and beauty of this world. Because what worth are miricles if ordinary men such as myself can make them and understand them, even if I cannot? What need do we have of God if miracles are two-a-penny?" About me: "Students, believe me when I tell you this: everything in the twentieth century is dead. Everything has already been said. Every color of paint has been ground and every canvas covered. Every sculpture has been sculpted and fired. Every combination of notes on every possible musical instrument has been generated..."
I run a zine distro, publish a zine called Alchemical Postmodern Theorist, ride a bike, work as an artist's assistant and do odd jobs, and organize with Bangor Community Media Collective and the Youth INK zine project.
Who I'd like to meet:
Beautiful boys, gender-transcendents, bad-ass females, people who enjoy subtler pleasures, creators, artists, hedonists, someone who can teach me to tie knots, and excellent cooks.
Ya know, People who say that "it's all been done before" or things like that don't know me or the meaning of my name. Joseph means "he shall add". Peace out gangsta!
Wow, you have been busy! I agree that dreams are creative; I pull a lot of inspiration from dreams I have had. I have been rockin'. I have been keeping myself busy working at a
day program for disabled adults, having good times with friends, making
a lot of new friends as well,
drawing and writing, playing, spending time outside, observing the sky and
nature.. I'm in really good space mentally; I finally feel balanced
after feeling so out of sorts for at least 6 months. I'm glad its such a nice day today. <3 love, Stefy
Hey. I had a nice surprise in the mail when I got to the country for the weekend. Thanks so much. Your zine looks great, and I can't wait to sit down and read it.
