Hi I'm Warren Earl. I started playing guitar when I was around nine years old. My father showed me my first chords on the guitar. It was soon obvious that I needed lessons to get anywhere with it at such a young age. I started having lessons off a few good players known in the local music scene. As time went on I began playing around with others instruments. Namely the Double Bass, Lap steel guitar, Banjo, Violin and drums. I was heavily influenced by my father's massive record collection consisting of Rockabilly, Hillbilly Boogie, Country, Western Swing and Jazz. At the age of fifteen I began singing lessons. The best thing I ever did!!! Since playing and singing I have been involved in various bands. In 1999 I entered a competition at the Frankston Guitar Festival. I was fortunate enough to win young guitarist of the year. The prize I collected was a Maton acoustic presented to me by Austarlia's leading guitarist Tommy Emmanuel. This was a highlight to remember. Most recently I lived in the UK for eighteen months and got to meet a Rockabilly/Rock'n'Roll/Country band called the Wanderers. This is to be looked back on as probably the most fun I have ever had playing in a band!! Thanks to the guys and gals for a great time. Recently I have recorded an album titled Original Rockabilly. It's a multitrack recording in which I have played every instrument. I hope for it to be on the market pretty soon. Stay tuned for more...... Well finally the CD is ready for sale. It has fourteen Original Rockabiily tracks with an authentic 50's sound. Copies can be purchased by contacting myself through this site or through the following outlets: Amercian Republic, Roxy Records, Lucky Strike, Mustang Records and Hound Dog's Bop Shop. Happy Listening!
