Warren is an incredible songwriter with an amazing voice. He also covers rock and roll and folk rock artists from the ‘60’s, ‘70’s and 80’s. His stories, from watching Frankenstein on the late movie with Jimmy Buffett, coloring with Dolly Parton and hanging out with Richie Havens, to exchanging letters with Doors’ singer/lyricist Jim Morrison and touring with The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band are as entertaining as the songs they inspired and prompted Mare Lennon to quip “Warren is the Forrest Gump of Folk!".

The concert with you and John McEuen was fantastic, even better than last year. Your show is one of the most entertaining that we have ever booked. Everyone is still talking about what a great time they had.

John McEuen, the CMA and Grammy award winning multi-instrumentalist for The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band says:
Warren Floyd is an excellent entertainer. His fan base has been built on his engaging personable stage approach that brings people in to listening to a voice I wish I had, and he does this with an eclectic mix of known songs . . . and then lays on them some of his own, which usually end up going over better than all. He is dependable, a nice guy, easy to work with, and hey! shows up on time! He picks great and works a crowd well . . . and all have a good time as he sneaks in his own songs that end up getting requested by return listeners.
Warren has worked for me personally and with The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band both on an artistic and production level. In doing so he has always demonstrated that he is a professional in every manner, whether being asked at the last minute to open a show in front of a few thousand people, singing harmony on or off stage, being a lighting director or guitar roadie, or any of the many other things we have called him to do. Warren always performed professionally, did it right, etc. We are glad to have had his services and feel that anyone else who does so will feel the same.
