He also covers rock and roll and folk rock artists from the ‘60’s, ‘70’s and 80’s. His stories, from watching Frankenstein on the late show with Jimmy Buffett and coloring with Dolly Parton, to hanging out with Richie Havens and touring with The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, are as entertaining as the songs they inspired, and prompted singer/songwriter Mare Lennon to quip, “Warren is the Forrest Gump of Folk.”

Just wanted to thank you again for a wonderful time last night. We all really enjoyed your music. You gave me much more than I bargained for. Have I said yet how great you were?

The concert with you and John McEuen was fantastic, even better than last year. Your show is one of the most entertaining that we have ever booked. Everyone is still talking about what a great time they had.

Daddy, Are we There Yet?, the new recording from Warren Floyd, is now available, featuring original songs and a few written by some of my favorite Denver songwriters. It also features performances by John McEuen and Jimmie Fadden of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. The album was mixed by Tom Anderson, who has worked with The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Sly & The Family Stone, Van Morrison, Hoyt Axton and others.
Also available is Tired & Decaffeinated, the album by Floyd & Baker, featuring original tunes plus tunes by Jimmie Fadden (of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) and Jon Ims (who has written for Reba McIntyre, Trisha Yearwood, The Dixie Chicks).
