Welcome to the MySpace page of professional musician Warren James. 25-year-old Warren is one of the UK's most high rated lead guitarists.
Midlands based, Warren performs a range of styles from Jazz and Blues to Rock 'n' Roll. His country and rockabilly guitar techniques have been compared to those of legends Albert Lee and James Burton.
In 2003/4 a tour of Germany allowed him to record with Benny and Bastian Korn of the pop/rock group 'Korn Twins 78', he also worked with Jazz leader Lutz Eikelmann during the tours. Warren has toured with Paul Leegan & The Legends as lead guitarist and has recorded on their albums since the year 2000. Other tour dates have included England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain - in fact just about everywhere. Warren was described recently in an interview with the Times newspaper as being "a musical hitch-hiker, going from one good gig to the next" - they couldn't be more right as he has clocked up thousands and thousand of miles world wide.
Acknowledged as the UK's best young Country and Rock-a-billy picker who has a natural feel of the Country, Blues and Jazz music he loves most. Brian May complimented Warrens playing when he performed at the celebrity ball for the showbiz charity 'The Grand Order of Water Rats' to the likes of Bill Wyman, Brian May and 1500 other celebrity figures.
Warren is available to stand in or tour with any bands, offering vocals and guitar solos to your music.
Since April 2009 I have been touring with Paul Leegan but as well as working with Roger Dean's JOhnny Cash story around the UK theatres. I have revisited theatres I've played in the past with Paul and the boys as well as some new venues, all of which have been very nice indeed and I hope to continue working with Rogers band 'The Lazy Boys'
