"I finally had an adult conversation with my broken heart and these 12 songs are the transcripts.I lost love, found love, and believe it or not lost it again. In the process of losing things I found me. I came home. It's amazing to feel again, good and bad, there's no place I'd rather be than Right Here Right Now".
Inspiring words from Kitchener-Waterloo's Jamie Warren, who is about to release his 5th CD on March 25th, titled "Right Here Right Now". This multiple Juno nominated, and CCMA award winner has the distinction of being Canada's most acknowledged independent country artist.
Following the release of this CD and his performance on Canada AM, Jamie starts a 20 date canadian tour, starting in Red Deer and ending in Halifax. This tour also features Duane Steele and Willie Mack. Check out www.jamiewarren.com for more details.
Jamie just released the single "She Just Loves To Dance" to radio, (early indications is that it's a hit) which should peak about the time the CD hits stores. He will also support the release of his CD with 3 Factor funded You-Tube videos and be on the cover of Country Music News for April.
This is the best CD Jamie has written and recorded; his first since his greatest hits in 2004. He's iconic, yet still very relevant.

A couple of years in the making, RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW is a very personal collection of songs - a journal so to speak of one man's quest to find himself. Jamie provides for us a window to gaze deeply into his being, resulting in a breath-taking journey of soul-searching.
Jamie, with his pure, rich voice as unique as a single snowflake, takes us on a journey from his heart-wrenching ballad “Someday You Will”, about surviving a parting of ways with a loved one, to “One Real Kiss”, one person’s answer to a dying relationship. “I’m Getting Closer” and “I’d Rather Be Lonely” greet us on the road to “Right Here Right Now”, songs of healing but not quite there yet. Then in the title song Jamie sings of finally coming to terms with his demons and there is no place he’d rather be than “Right Here Right Now”!
Interestingly enough, this is Jamie's journey but most of us can relate. The album actually gives a person warm fuzzies knowing they aren't alone.
The standout songs on this album were very hard for me to choose because they are all excellent but my favourites are “Someday You Will”, “I’d Rather Be Lonely” and “One Real Kiss”.
I must agree with that old adage “you don’t get older, you get better” because it definitely fits in Jamie’s case! He’s never looked better; he’s right where he wants to be; and…….this album is, in my humble opinion, a collection of the BEST songs Jamie has written to date…. A 10 in my books!

Hey Jamie; Greetings from one Hanover boy to another. Yes it was my dad who taught you at J.D.S.S. Sorry I never caught you in the early days back home, I'm older then you and was off working in Toronto. I hope my wife and I can hear you soon. It's nice to have someone from your home town make you proud. It's been a long time since the Mercy Brothers carried the banner, now it's your's. Best Wishes to you and your's in 2008. David
So nice to see you last night. The show was great (though I was hoping you would get up and play too of course once I saw you there) The owner came over to ask where you were about 3 minutes after you left. He was sorry he didn't get to talk to you. His name is John Marlatt. I'm sure he'll be in touch... I know he'd love to have you out to do a show (as would I!)It's such a great place to perform original songs. Cheers Julie
Hi Jamie, thanks for accepting my invitation of friendship on myspace. Your page is looking good. Do you have any gigs planned for the Kitchener or Cambridge area? I remember going to your Birthday Bash at Little Bighorn a few years back. That was awesome. Hope to see you soon.
