Sport- Martial Arts, all footy (rugby, AFL, soccer), cycling, little bit of jogging and some gym. Relaxing at home with the family. Not a lot of gardening, listening to music and reading. I live in the centre but love the beach.

Welcome to my official MySpace! I am the member for Lingiari, and I was previously the member for Northern Territory between 1987 and 1996.
I was born in Canberra, where I went to St Benedict’s Primary School and St Edmund’s College. I then went to ANU to get my Bachelor of Arts degree, later getting my Diploma of Education from Murdoch University. Before entering politics, I worked as a researcher at the ANU, a school teacher and a policy officer at the Central Land Council.
It was in 1976 that I first moved to the NT to work as a teacher. I still live there, in Alice Springs, with my partner Elizabeth and my four kids, Frances, Tom, Tessa and Jack.
I’m actually the first MP to represent the electorate of Lingiari. The electorate was formed for the 2001 federal election as a result of the old electorate, Northern Territory, splitting in two (Solomon, which covers the Darwin area, is the other new electorate).
Lingiari is the second-largest federal electorate in Australia. It covers 1,347,849 sq km of the Northern Territory and both the Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
Over so many years in Parliament I’ve performed many roles like Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Transport and Communications (1990-2), Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Employment, Education and Training (1992-6), Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Environment, Sport and Territories (1993-6) and Parliamentary Secretary (Territories) (1993-4).
This year Australians get to go to the polls, to make an important choice which party will lead our nation into the future. I’ll be working as hard as I can to ensure a Rudd Labor Government is given that privilege and responsibility!
Who I'd like to meet: Territorians, people who are passionate about the north and the "bush" and want to see this part of Australia be developed in a sustainable way.Of course also those who are concerned about our environment and want a non nuclear future as well as those who have an interest in indigenous issues; and those with a belief in an Australia that accepts and appreciates difference; and of course those who want to see the Rudd Labor Team govern the country.
And of course supporters of Geelong, the Brumbies or the Raiders.
And anyone who likes a chat and a bit of a laugh :-)

Hi Warren, have you heard we're a finalist for a MySpace impact award? We're in the running to win a $10,000 donation :) Please vote for us because a donation of this size would be so helpful to ANTaR - the pic below is a link to the page where you can vote ...
Thank you for adding the Breadmore and Bowers MySpace campaign group.
We approve of your moustache. We would like you to know, that we intend to submit a plan to the Hellyer College SRC to make such moustaches mandatory facial accessories (for both males and females) by 2009.

In 2006,approximately 2,869 Australians were diagnosed with leukaemia the equivalent of 8 people a day. Approximately 1,363 Australians will die of leukaemia every year the equivalent of almost 4 people a day.
