About me:
..
I'm a Metaller who's not quite your typical closed-minded metalhead, a guitarist, and guitar gearhead....I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, but many of my friends think I'll make my name doing more tech-related stuff, which could well be the case. I play guitar in a death/doom metal band called Shroud of Bereavement, as well as a zombie-themed black/death metal band called Recently Vacated Graves: True Zombie Metal. I have previously been in bands in the power metal and death/thrash metal genres, as well.
I'm also a beer snob...I love good beer, and am thoroughly disgusted by the typical party beers that come in $10 30-packs...If I'm going "cheap," I'm buying something like Sam Adams. It doesn't mean I'm rich, I just have actual taste in beer, unlike most people my age.
Why the fuck am I on here? MySpace happens to be good for networking for musicians, so there you have it.
And to all you typical angsty, attention-starved MySpace kids who want to add me as a friend, you probably won't get approved. MySpace is not a popularity contest....at least, it shouldn't be, but way too many people treat it like one. I only add bands I like, I only add people who are people I either already know, or seem to have some actual common interest with.
I don't believe in religion, and I have a major problem with people who are particularly religious. I don't care if you believe in some deity or whatever, I'm fine with that....but as soon as you bring your doctrine into things and try to convince me it's absolute truth, then we've got a problem. By the way, if you are religious, it doesn't mean I can't be friends with you, it just means it's a subject to avoid in conversation. Christians seem to be the biggest offenders when it comes to this, thus the banner below, which I've gotten a few questions about....maybe this'll help explain that...
