WARRIORSOUND INTERNATIONAL Warriorsound started with Selecta Ditch and Mattia in the summer of 2002 as Rainbow Warrior Sound and played their first dance in Hilden, Germany. After the big success of the first dance Warriorsound started to play at the U-Club in wuppertal, germanys most famous club for reggae and dancehall..and thats just the start..
After etablishing a regular dance on every 3rd friday of the month in the u-club called "warriornight", mattia started his own weekly regular ina bar in wuppertal called "mattia..s jamaican thursday". When the bar closed the dance moved to the u-club cause it pulled a huge crowd every week. Since years "Mattia..s Jamaican thursday" is a household name in Wuppertal and known as the place to be on thursday nights.
In late 2008 Selecta Ditch quitted the sound because of different circumstances, but he never lost the love to the music and the sound and mattia and ditch are still close! He did a lot for the sound and will always be one of the most important people in Warriorsounds musical carrer.
THE 1 MAN ARMY
The experience of jugglin for years and years on every thursday night made Mattia confident in playin the sound on his own. With his selecting and mc skills he is the only serious 1 man soundshow in germany that can mash up every dance and every crowd everywhere in the world. He..s well known for his great jugglin performances, the large dubplate box and the good connection between him and the crowd.
Mattia was recently booked to New York and played with Younghawk in the Bronx in February 2009 and shortly after that he went to france and killed Heartical, Superfresh and Irie Crew in a Dubplate Clash and took the Crown of the French Crown Soundclash 2009 which just pointed out the quality of warriorsound!!
Update: On december the 18th 2009 Warriorsound clashed Irie Crew in the U-Club in Wuppertal and took his next trophy home!! Real Champion Sound
Also his quality as a host is well appreciated by promoters all over germany. Mattia hosted different clashes and festivals already and with his young 26 years we know that it just starts...
