The Leaders of Men is now defunct. Our last show was on Friday, May 18th 2007 and we would like to thank everyone who supported us for the past year and a half. Dave (the singer) is now the singer in The Ghost of Curtis, another Joy Divison tribute band. www.myspace.com/theghostofcurtis
Formed in October of 2005, The Leaders of Men was made up of Sam Bail (Ex-Jipsters, 6 Million Dollar Band) on drums, Anthony McGrath (ex Holsteins) on bass, Walker Phillips (ex member of many punk bands from Baltimore)on guitar, Dave Tibbs (Ex-Speedboat drummer) on vocals. TLOM played Warsaw and Early Joy Division songs to pay tribute to the the Manchester foursome that made history. Thanks to Tracey Long for designing the flyer and James Nestor for recording and mixing the songs.
