Music---I have been a musician for over 25 years.
I bought my first guitar when i was 13 and then my first Washburn in 1985 when I was a senior in high school.
I moved to California that year to become a "rock star" and eventually attended the GIT division of Musician's Institute, probably one of the greatest years of my life...going back and forth to MI with my guitar strapped on my back without a worry in the world and attending private lessons with Paul Gilbert, Dan Gilbert, Steve Travato, Keith Wyatt, Billy Sheehan, Danny Gill, Nick Nolan...what a trip. And my private instructor was Michael Ward (Wallflowers, School of Fish, Shelby Lynne). Of course, back then he had long hair and played metal.
I started working for Washburn Guitars in 1988 and am still playing and hyping the product today, including Washburn Guitars, Randall Amplifiers, Eden Bass gear, and Parker Guitars.
I am a veteran guitar player and have been in several bands over the years and my latest, Uncle Sam, is one of the most popular 80's Rock cover bands in the midwest, opening for Vince Neil, Firehouse, Slaughter, and some potential dates with Skid Row.
I have seven Washburn guitars, including a couple of signed ones, and my main axe right now is my Washburn NC70 Nick Catanese Signature model, a 13lb tank with a huge neck and massive tone.
I also play Randall amps. I have two white (again custom color) RM100M heads and use the R412XLX cabs that each have 2 Celestion Vintage 30's and 2 Celestion GT7512's.
