Smith, Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Earth Wind and Fire, Philip Baley, Marc Anthony, Danny Rivera, Papi, Geez I have many more, I'll have to get back to this one... One thing I have to add is: "Not everything that steps out of line, and thus "abnormal", must necessarily be "inferior". -Hans Asperger who has what my son and many others have. this needs to be researched more than it has been, exploited more than it has been, and in doing so, kids with this gift will find a way.
Sounds Like
Not sure, me of course, some say I sound like Shawn Colvin, a bit of Toni Braxton, Bonnie Raitt, and Gloria Estefan kinda rolled into one....
Right now I am flying free. I sing and play a little guitar, I have done back up harmonies for many artists which is something I love to do. I started a Christian group right out of High school by the name of Reach, which then morphed into a Spanish Salsa band lead by my husband Andy Andino, then went to record a CD with our headliner artist Helena Santiago with Rico Records off of New York. We did that for 7yrs and then I heard the calling again to get back to my roots. Christian music, we started a band Who Do YOu Say I am, who is still playing after 10yrs, I also recorded a CD in Nashville, Daughters of God, which went to best seller within a week, you can hear and purchase at spiritandsong.com I was also nominated best female vocalist of the year at the CMVA 2007. who would have thunk it...yikes... I love to sing, play guitar , draw and paint, share music with anyone and everyone that loves to laugh and take life seriously but with a sense of humor, which is something that I could not live without. This is why I have created my music page. I live with my husband of 18 yrs who owns a music studio called, Whooville Studios. in Lorain, OH and is the director of Who Do YOu SAy I am. I also have three sons who are my life. They are strong thinkers, artists, musicians of course whom I love to death. Keep playing, dancing, drawing, creating and mostly share your gifts with others. It sometimes can change a person's life.
Hey Wendy, thanks for the listen and your kind words. Glad to know you're enjoying the music. Please stop by often and keep an ear out for the new album due in April and let me know what you think!
Very cool to meet you! I especially totally fell in love with the first two songs on your page, I think the one was called Mother to Another? I forgot the title of the other one this second =/ Anyway, just beautiful! I was a professional jockey for many years, retired from racing now, move back to Norwalk to persue my side business which is my invention the Equicizer. It's a mechanical horse that people can use to exercise, practice riding, rehabilitate, even for riders with disabilities. It's been a very cool adventure for me and I am the only guy in the world that does this. My shop is in my back yard. I build an sell my horses to people all over the world. Trying to expand our business now :) I also am a guitarist, though all that remains a hobby when I have time. Played in rock bands for years but also wrote an recorded my own folky acoustic type stuff. ok, well not to talk your ear off, hope to catch your show here in Norwalk!!! Cheers! Frankie
