So I looked up what a Clepsydra is, and if you're interested, it's a type of "water clock." I didn't read too extensively, but basically you measure time by seeing how much water has collected in some vessel. So, when Myrrhine (in my script at least) asks how to purify herself and Cinesias says "a clepsydra", he's asking her to make innapropriate use of a clock.
So I was sitting in a little cubicle at the tutoring center where I work, and I noticed one of the little inspirational posters on the wall had a quote by President Andrew Jackson:
"One man with courage makes a majority."
And I couldn't help but thinking...no Andrew Jackson, that's not what a majority is. That's called an overthrow of democracy by one guy who's got balls. Muscling your way around Washington is not a "majority."
Well, at least he wasn't too surprised that he was the first president to have an assasination attempt on his life ;-P
