Derry - the great lover and god of the prophecy, from whom I am humanly descended.
Leannan - Derry's lover, goddess, and both martyr for and savior of mankind. Though we no longer feel its warmth, her flame burns eternally in our hearts.
About me:
Once, long ago, according to the legends that men tell in the back of dark barrooms when the ale flows too freely and too cheaply, there were many like me... but they were all killed, captured, or made to work in enslaved labor, using their abilities for the evil and greed that are common amongst humans.
That was long before I was alive.
Today, Nuada tells me there are only four of us now, of which I am the only WaterBearer. From infancy, we were hidden, kept secret from the greedy humans who would seek to use us, waiting for the right time, our time - the time revealed to us in the prophecy. No one knows from where we came. I don't know who my parents are, or even if I have parents.
My name is Davan.
I control the water of this world, from the droplets of dew, to the raging rivers, to the vast oceans all the way down to the water inside each and every living thing... and every living human.
My quest: to find the others like me - FIRESTARTER, WINDCHANGER and EARTHDWELLER - and fulfill the prophecy long ago foretold in the story of the god and goddess who resemble me and Lasair.
Ah, Lasair... the other half of my soul, the fire that warms my heart, the passion that engulfs me - though I have never touched her in this life, nay, not even have lain eyes upon her in this mortal shell, I know her. She haunts my dreams each night, and she is the reason I wake in the morning.
Nuada tells me I must set out now... I must find my lady love, my Lasair... my flame, and reunite with her.
Who I'd like to meet: Lasairiona, my Lasair - the incomplete half of my very soul, my flame. I'm sure you've heard of her in legends. Rumor has it, she is the only living FIRESTARTER.
Guthrie, rumored to be my brother by blood, fabled to be my twin, but no one knows where he is. His breeze has been known to fan the flame, so I believe he follows the Firestarter. Guthrie has taken his abilities, cultivated them into whimsical and oft destructive ways, and bears faithful true to the title given him by the gods and goddesses: WINDCHANGER.
Conaire - no one knows where Conaire has gone, but we do know of the destruction he left before his exit. He too seeks the Firestarter, and according to prophecy, he seeks to destroy the twins of water and wind. If the rumors are true, that means Guthrie is my twin brother, and it means we both are in danger.
