Water Charity is a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization that improves the human rights and dignity of individuals throughout the world by providing them with sustainable resources that impact upon their health and well-being.
This is done through the implementation of practical solutions to provide safe water through the designing and funding of water projects such as well drilling, catchment building, water filtration, and pump installation.

Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who is willing to help in any way.
Every 15 seconds a child dies due to a water-related disease.
At any given moment, half of the world's hospital beds are filled by people with water-bourne diseases.
"When you can't imagine how things are going to change, that doesn't mean that nothing will change. It means that things will change in ways that are unimaginable."
- Bruce Sterling (sci-fi writer/ futurist)
Don't forget to sign the Article 31 petition to add access to clean water as a basic human right in the UN's Declaration Of Universal Human Rights.
On September 14, 2007, Wisconsin activst Amy Burns sent out a circular urging her readers to go to the Baltimore Sun to join in what is destined to be one of its hottest forums ever, a war of minds over the "sport" of hunting, with emphasis on bow-hunting. While her readers began pondering, comments from the pro-hunting side came in hard and fast. "America's most-hated Anti" Anthony Marr jumped in head first, and so did leading anti-huntresses Tierra and Mamasita. Amazingly, the battle is still raging as we speak, more than two years later in November 23, 2009! The total number of comments so far has exceeded 93,000, and growing. This is a phenomenon, and destined to be a classic, not to be missed if you care about animals at all.
JUST ONE One song can spark a moment, One flower can wake the dream. One tree can start a forest, One bird can herald spring. One smile begins a friendship, One handclasp lifts a soul. One star can guide a ship at sea, One word can frame the goal One vote can change a nation, One sunbeam lights a room One candle wipes out darkness, One laugh will conquer gloom. One step must start each journey. One word must start each prayer. One hope will raise our spirits, One touch can show you care. One voice can speak with wisdom, One heart can know what's true, One life can make a difference, You see, it's up to you! JOHN NEWTON

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be..
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones,
and allow your soul the freedom to sing,
Dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
Calcutta sounds like a fable in a song, but in reality, it is where John, my colleague and successor, was murdered. He was on the job for only three days when he got his throat slashed. As an undercover investigator targeting the illegal wildlife trade, especially in tiger parts, his real name was unknown, even to me, nor mine to him. We were just John and James to each other. All I know is that he was Chinese American, while his predecessor James - real name Anthony Marr - is Chinese Canadian, and how sincere he was in helping to save the Bengal tiger from being poached out of existence, while its habitat continues to dwindle due to human pressure...
"A myriad of clouds cannot extinguish the sun. Remember this through the overcast of worry, stress, or anger. In form, these thoughts seem to obstruct the Light of Love. Deluges of tears surely fall. Yet, despite ominous shrouds of uncertainty or storms upon the heart, the Light of Truth shines strong and sure far above all temporal impediments. Trust beyond appearances and radiate in the unchanging skies of Love." ~Pamela Silberman~
"From within or from behind, a light shines through us upon things and makes us aware that we are nothing, but the light is all." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson~
"Candle light, moon light, star light, the brightest glow is from love light." ~Grey Livingston~
Love is like a butterfly in so many, many ways. It brings a bit of sunshine even on gloomy days. It makes our souls feel lighter just to know it's there And gives our spirits wings, as if floating in the air. It carries us to places that we never knew before And comes in many sizes, shapes and hues galore.
Once we've seen it, we wish to hold onto it so tight But like a frail butterfly, we must allow it free flight, For if we should try to cage it up and hold it in a pen, We'll surely crush its wings, and it'll never fly again. To keep that love glowing in our hearts each day, We must remember always to give some of it away.
Every little bit we give to someone else to share Comes back tenfold, and we've so much to spare. Put your love on gossamer wings, and give it flight; It will return to you, and bring you much delight.
Halloween is past, but we do have a barbarian at the gate, a demon lurking in the ground, frozen there for eons, now being thawed and released into the living world, where it will roast life alive. If you want to really scare yourself silly, watch this 50 minute video in one go. Turn off the light, and the phone..

Science will be the foundation of all future societies. Technological progress is exponential and is increasing at an exponential rate. In time all the questions in the Universe will be answered by science. Technological evolution is the extension of human evolution. thinkersbebo. com has been born from these mindsets.
