Hi Peter, Thank you for the group-invitation, I will join...later:-))) Did you hear the brand new info about the japanese coastguard? (if not yet, it is on my bulletin) What is your opinion? Could be a real decision or only lying? Vera
Ahoy! Peter. This is a lyrical re-write of " Sink The Bismark" Love Ya.Lynn
In December of two thousand and eight the whale war had just begun. The Japanese had the biggest ship that had the biggest harpoon guns.
The Nisshin Maru was the factory ship that sailed the Atric seas. On her deck were harpoon guns as big as steers and cranes big as trees.
Out of the cold and foggy night came the Sea Shepherd ship the Steve Irwin. And every Sea Shepherd crew member, he knew and understood. They had to sink the Nisssin Maru, the terror of the sea. Stop those guns as big as steers and those harpoons as big as trees
We'll find that Japanese Whaler Ship thats makin' such a fuss. We gotta sink the Nisshin Maru'cause the whales depends on us. Hit the decks a-runnin' boys and sling those butter bombs around. When we find the Nisshin Maru we'll fowl her prop and shut her down.
The fog was gone on the seventh day and they saw the mornin' sun Ten hours away from homeland the Japanese made their' run. The Captain Watson of the Sea Shepherd said "Turn those bows around" We found that Japanese Whaling ship and we're gonna cut her down.
The harpoon guns were aimed and the harpoons were comin' fast The first shell hit the whale, they knew she couldn't last That mighty whale is just a memory."Sink the Nissin Maru" was the battle cry that shook the Southern sea.
The Irwin found the Nisshun Maru and on that fatal day. The Japanese started whaling fifteen miles away. We gotta sink the Nisshin Maru was the battle sound. But when the smoke had cleared away. The mighty Japanese Whalers were running away.
For six long days and weary nights they tried to find her trail Captain Watson told the people "Put every ship a-sail" Cause somewhere on that ocean I know she's gotta be. We gotta sink the Nisshin Maru to the bottom of the sea
Thanks for all the wonderful graphics, hope you dont mind I posted them on my page :D Spread the word!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Love and Hugs MicheLe~
Black as night over sea Sleek and graceful, true and free White as light, as untouched snow The only hint a splash, a blow They glide through water, still as glass They leap through waves, and then they've past Then after winter's come and gone They return, to sing us their sweet song
I just stole the pic you sent with the comment. :) I'll do more editing tomorrow. I'm making signs for a protest on Saturday (puppy mill issue) here in Dallas. Had a few minutes so I did a bit of editing. You on facebook too? --- You should try coming over to The Genesis Awards in LA sometime. They're every year in March. It's such a positive experience!
