Waterhouse performs music of the Carribean. The group was founded in 1984 by Kosi Keith Eric to perform the music of his homeland-Reggae. The repertoire has grown to include many different styles of Jamaican music: Dance Hall, Mento, Rock Steady, Roots Reggae, Ska, and the Caribbean styles Calypso and Soca from Trinidad.
The group presents many educational conerts and has appeared in almost every grade school in Chicago. Having established a strong following and reputation for Jamaican music, Waterhouse performs regularly throughout the midwest at colleges, festivals, and nightclubs. The group takes its name from the Waterhouse section of Kingston, Jamaica where Kosi grew up with the Roots of Reggae.

Hey guys! I just wanted to tell youthat I actually saw you perform at my elementary school in Chicago back in like 1994. Your group's name has stayed with me ever since and my fave type of music is Caribbean. Now that I see you are still going strong I am so happy and I am going to get to one of your upcoming shows. I am a Spanish teacher in Oswego IL, close to Aurora and I am the sponsor for the MOSAIC club (Many Ordinary Students Appreciating Individuality and Culture) and we run events like Latin Heritage and African heritage celebrations for our new HS. Iwould love for you to have a show for us here in Oswego. Our little town has had its share of tragedies (many in the last few months) and we need some pick-me ups out here! If youwould come out here, hit me up! Let's organize it! Thanks and hope to hear soon! Jen Walker
