In the early 1990's, Mr George Melas the founder and Chief Executive Director of Waterworld Holdings Ltd ang G.L.F. Melas Ltd, had a vision to create a leisure facility here in Cyprus that would be a market leader in the industry. His vision became reality when, after much planning and considerable hard work, Waterworld Waterpark opened its doors to the public in 1996. Waterworld Waterpark has rapidly become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Cyprus, Europe, with over one million guests to date. Waterworld Waterpark is owned by G.L.F.
