2008 celebrates 26 years of WATUSI and the release of their newest CD,
"Bigger than Life", on World Beatnik Records, in May is long time coming and an ever-forward step. The CD is the 6th release by WATUSI and shows a true diversity of styles and riddims: REGGAE-Roots to Dancehall, Soca, Zouk, Afrikan JuJu, Highlife, Soukous, salsa, jazz & Jawaiian, all mixed inna World Beatnik style, with a "One Love" vibe.
The previous CD, "Cool Runner", has taken the band and their music worldwide, with airplay in 105 countries, and rave reviews around the world.
Watusi is planning now for a first-time Central American tour with major stops in Costa Rica, a new reggae hotbed with great support!
