Vocalist and harp player Waverly Milor is originally from the Washington, DC area, having moved to the Shenandoah Valley in December 2007. Since moving to Ruckersville, he’s played with South 29, Chris Winter and The Biscuit Rollers and now has found a home with Zen Daddy(www.zendaddyband.com).
He brings 20 plus years experience as front man and vocalist and adds another instrument, harmonica, to Zen Daddy’s arsenal. Zen Daddy plays a huge variety of new and used blues and rock with their own unique style.
Between 2003 and 2008 , Wave played over 100 shows a year in bars and dives all over the DC area and earned a reputation as one of the region’s most dynamic live performers. His peers in the Washington Area Music Association honored Wave by nominating him for Best Male Blues Vocalist in 2007. Wave uses Hohner and Seydel harmonicas, Peavey amps and a variety of harmonica microphones; his newest favorite is a 1960 Western Electric telephone.
Wave is also a member of Hard Swimming Fish; a multi-talented trio that is equally adept at both acoustic and electric blues. Catch them in the Frederick, MD area and beyond. www.hardswimminfish.com
You can catch Wave onstage often sitting in with The Lisa Lim Band; a funky blues band fronted by the amazing Lisa Lim on guitar and vocals!
Many folks may remember Wave as the lead vocalist for one of the DC area's favorite original, blues bands, ACME Blues Company. ACME will re-unite occasionally for shows in the DC area in the future.

Our next CVBS blues Jam will be October 29th at Blue Mountain Brewery in Afton from 7pm - 10pm. This is a lot of fun, and some great musicians come out... This will start out as a open mic type event, but typically ends with a Jam at the end.. Bring your favorite Blues instruments and bring some friends.. this is a great time, with wonderfull folks at Blue Mountain serving up Micro brews and food...
I just listened to Stay all Night. The one we jammed on together. I still laugh everytime you say " Go buy all his records, His kids will get the money". LMAO!!!
Where on Patrick Street? I might be heading to Baltimore that night for a charity gig Mike is sitting in on but if I decide to stay close to home I'll swing out and catch you guys. Love that harp sound man! I've got the very basics of that instrument sorta kind figured out, then I listen to you and I'm like "DAAAAYUM!"
