Exploring the boundaries of rock blues and funk, Wax Bodhi uses the jams to quest for the momentary singularity of clarity. That priceless moment of sensual freedom where it *feels* like perfection. It is impossible to capture, unique, never to be repeated. The holy grail sought by all jamband musicians, sometimes found, other times frustratingly elusive. For you cannot find the moment yourself. You must let go of everything and let the moment find you.
And when that moment does arrive, believe in it. You will have doubts afterward, or, as we prefer to call it, Wax Bodhi. (a Wax Statue is not real; it is Fake - Bodhi is the attainment of Enlightenment in Bhuddism - thus we can use "Wax Bodhi" to describe "Fake Enlightenment").
Wax Bodhi is no longer performing, but here is a little placeholder for the music. This page currently provides some mp3s from our Hempstock 2005 festival set. One sweet summer night in Starks, Maine....
