Waxdolls hadden mij een paar maand geleden al overtuigd van hun talent, en bij een tweede luisterbeurt konden ze dat alleen maar bevestigen. Hard en scheurend, een echt vat vol energie. Voeg daar nog een leuke extra aan toe, namelijk een eigen VJ die weet hoe het moet en je hebt een fantastisch optreden. Het zou me verbazen mocht ik in deze 10-daagse nog een betere live te zien krijgen ... van de Waxdolls gaan we wat mij betreft nog veel horen (het voorbije weekend stonden ze trouwens ook op Dour). Een enkeling in het publiek dacht trouwens zelf een groter rock’n’roll-gehalte te hebben door de gordijnen in de balzaal opzij te schuiven en doodleuk een plasje te maken in de hoek, ik hoop dat zijn zizi er van schaamte is afgevallen. Gordijnplassen, BIG in 2008?
