I decided to drop the DJ from my name and just go with Shamrock from now on. My personal friends can call me DJ Shamrock. On this board I will be DJ Shamrock. My gmail will be djshamrock. But from now on I am just Shamrock.
The reason being I am not just a DJ. I am an MC. I am a grafitti writer and artist. I DJ and produce music. I do a myriad of things when it comes to being a b-boy. DJ is for DJ's which I am but I don't want to get pigeon holed to one profession.
On The Coffee Room page I will be known as Shamrock or Shammy. I won't get offended if you call me DJ Shamrock. I ain't Puff Daddy. But with my new album comming out in which I do alot of rapping, scratching, producing, I don't want peeps to confuse me as the guy in the background standing behind two Technic 1200's dropping a zigga-zigga here and there.
So that's that.

I am the Bristol TN guy. I grew up in NY and my name is Mark, which turned to Marky. Then Marky Boy. Then Marky B. Everyone calls me Marky B. in NY but down south I am known as DJ Shamrock. So when I rap I'm Marky B., online and down South I'm either Shammy, DJ Shamrock, Shamrocka, or Sham. I DJ, produce in my home studio, mix, rap and make mixstapes.
AOK is the shit. He's always been my best friend and Hip-Hop is what brought us together. Long story short we did alot of shows in NY. I moved away from home in 1998, moved to Chapell Hill, NC and me and AOK keptt in touch. We would visit and shit. Then I moved to Bristol and now I do work here. AOK is comming to my studio for a few weks to lay down some vocals and them it's off to NYC to get a deal with either Sony or my boy Prodigy from Mobb Deep said he may get me down on his label sooner if our shit is tight enough
