The Wax Jackets are an original Funk band based in the North East of England and although they have only been established for just over 1 year they have caused quite a stir in their home town and surrounding areas. The band Line up includes Sam Sullivan (Gtr, Vocals), Smokey Lawson (Drums), Josie rainbow (Bass) and Sharky Porter (Vocals, Sax, Flute & Keys). In the summer months of 2005 They performed a mini tour of London performing at a number of venues in London including: The Clapham Grand, The Halfmoon, The Playrooms, Nambucca (To name but a few). Although the gigs are still coming in thick and fast The Wax Jackets are mainly concentrating on the completion of their new E.P. which is due for release in April.
