In a wide open (and ever expanding) space where Funk, Soul, Afrobeat, Reggae and Jazz heritage meet 3rd generation b-boy culture, urban lifestyle, electronic attitude and digital evolution, anything is possible. Some of the finest and most talented producers from that field are now gathering for good on WAX ON Records. Hand picked, nurtured and supported (in one way or another) by George and his crew, the start up label roster includes stand out artists like retroactive future funksters JD 73 and NEGGHEAD from England, french fried beat scientist GUTS, Budapest supersonic sound sensations GELKA and MARCEL, Brighton's purple funky monkey BENJI BOKO, groovalistic lounge heroes THE DEADBEATS, senor RAPSCALLION from Tallahassee/Florida, Miss MAKEBA MOONCYCLE and lord EARL TUTU.
