This Friday (22nd), we welcome a true heavyweight of the house and techno scene to Ward10, Andrew Weatherall. Having not played in the area for a good couple of years this gives anyone with even a hint of interest in house and techno a chance to check out a pioneer who is, with residencies at Fabric (London) and Back to Basics (Leeds) to testify, a world class DJ.
With Those That Know supplying the soul, funk, deep house and hip hop in Room 2, we think it's the perfect way to get the Bank Holiday weekend session started.

We have a very special night lined up for you this month as a bit of fresh air and the result of a project me and a friend have been toying with for a while we will be having a live DJ / Musician collaboration! You heard right, Myself and guitarist Richard George will be joining forces to create a DJ set with a twist and hopefully lots of cool solo's. The idea is simple I rock the beats, Rich jams on the axe we improvise, re-edit, battle...it's deffinately going to be different.
Mike Cooper will be popping in later on to play an eclectic mix of electronic lovelyness, something to polish your dancing sandles to. As per-usual Ross Carbutt will also be laying down some sound early on in the night, it's pretty much a Jetsons Jukebox get together!
You dont want to miss this one, I doubt you'll see anything like it again.
