About me: Way Down East formed in 2003 from the ashes of several of PA’s classic rock, punk and metal bands. Way Down East has taken everything good from their old bands and made them bigger, louder, and Better than ever before. The band has been electrifying local stages with a pulverizing live show and an arsenal of instant-classics like “Hillbilly RocknRoll,” “Modern Day Outlaws,” and “Jager Shots for Par” that mixes classic 70’s hard rock with rumbling, doomy stoner-metal. With influences ranging from the hardrock kings AC/DC and Clutch to sludge, speed-weed monsters Motorhead and its sound stretches back through the decades, a timeless throb of heavy metal thunder and endless, rolling grooves.
So, what does Way Down East want?
Someday, they hope to tour with AC/DC. Or at least play at a bar that has AC/DC on the jukebox.
