    Doesn't everyone say Napoleon Dynamite, Garden State and shit like that here? I like the Die Hard trilogy. I like Aliens. I love Bladerunner. I like a lotta stuff, but I really like not lying and saying I am exclusively into the indie flick of the month. (though I do like a lot of them).

    My primetime viewing has grown. I am drawing a line in the sand tho and I am trying to not watch TV, I watch shows... after 10 or 11 if there is nothing I want to watch, I am turning it off. I watch Lost, House, Heros, and ANTM, but just because Marnie does, really! I also watch "bad" sci fi. Stargate SG1 and Battlestar Galactica (2004). And the news, though I am not digging the CBC as much since the strike.

    Pratchett. Cherryh. Recently, Dickens, O'Brien, C.S. Forester. Neil Stephenson, Bruce Sterling. Currently re-reading the Time of the Dark series by Barbara Hambly, and the Mars series by Kim Stanley Robinson. For my serious side I read the New Yorker and Economist, and NYT online. Morning read consists of Halifax Herald, MetroNews, NYT, Manchester Guardian, Google News, Toronto Star, and the NSCC weather page (are we open today?)

Even if you know my friends, I am not adding you. Even if you are hot aspiring actress in LA... especially, if you are a hot aspiring actress in LA. Especially if you are in a band I don't listen to.


BIO AND STUFF So yes I had too much time in December 05. I set up this account to get a feel for Myspace and now we also have a Halifax Pop Explosion account (see the link/logo below.) Check out HPX Website for more info about Halifax Pop Explosion.

Let's see. What do I do? That is a very hard question to answer. I have a new full time job at the community college. I run a festival and do a bunch of other stuff. What stuff? I do business consulting, rock show producing, bookkeeping, video editing up to and including very pro looking TV ads in Final Cut Express HD, basic layout and graphic design, ghetto carpentry, office IT setup and support, mac guru, business plan and strategic plan writing, stakeholder driven process setup and management, and have had some success lobbying the government.

In my spare time I hang out with my family, raise my kids, watch Lost, and play PS3 and Wii. I do not get out as much as I would like.
