MoviesWaylon had a number of roles in big screen films. His very first was "Nashville Rebel" in 1966. This is now available on DVD from the online store at www.Waylon.com. Additional info will be added soon.

BooksBeing such an incredible story there were many suggestions over the years for Waylon to write a book about his life. He often joked that "too many people'd get killed or divorced if I told everything I knew." He turned down a number of extremely lucrative offers over the years for a 'sensational' version. Waylon's incredible story was finally made available to the world in 1996, in his self-titled autobiography. Much to his credit, and as testament to his character, it did not contain the all the sordid details that he could have easily recounted. Waylon wrote this with seasoned musician and writer Lenny Kaye. It is still available [hardcover, paperback and audiobook with Waylon reading] at many retailers, or online at places like Amazon.com
HeroesWaylon counted his father and Muhammad Ali as heroes. And, I think it's perhaps safe to say that Lil Miss Jessi Colter was likely Waylon's biggest hero - or she had autta been!! "Together, we're one --- divided, we're through...."

Waylon, I miss you Buddy,I cut teeth to your music and, my wedding song was " you ask me too" and I will be probably be buried to one of your songs. But I know you must giving your best show of all, you will always be remembered here in my heart.

Was at my unle's house the other day and had a rememberence day of Waylon. Listen to some old records and talked about some shows we been to. It was fun to not forget such a great man!
