Movies
not really a fan of the big screen, especially not for $10+ where the first 30 minutes are spent advertising other movies!
Television
alias, boston legal, the o.c., the office, hell's kitchen, house, grey's anatomy and most programs on the food network, diy network, fine living, and hgtv.
Books
i like to read non-fiction and technical books. keep me away from the bookstore. it's impossible for me not to leave with at least 2-3 new books, which is way more than i have time to read.
Heroes
wynn is my hero. it seems like most people i know, including myself, have no idea what they want to do with their lives. "maybe law school", "maybe get an mba", "graduate school?", "maybe a career change.. or two or three". it's very refreshing inspiring to know there is someone out there that knows what they want to do with their life and is on a fast track toward reaching that goal. you are my inspiration, my love, my better half

i'm a full-time software developer and computer scientist. i write software and design algorithms to help scientists analyze the genomes of various organisms important in a number of energy-related areas: carbon sequestration, energy production, bioremediation, etc.
i'm also a part-time business consultant specializing in business organization strategies, taxes, and law, technology infrastructure, project management, product/service r&d, and marketing.
in my spare time, i enjoy reading non-fiction, particularly statistics, economics, and politics. i just finished "the culture code" by clotaire rapaille and highly recommend it for anyone interested in product research, development and/or marketing (or anyone that is just interested in psychology). i'm also a photographer. i enjoy photographing landscapes and architecture, especially at night, but i also do outdoor portrait work (sorry, no studio yet) and event photography. occasionally, i do some design work (web sites, magazines, calendars, etc)
in between all these things, i usually get 4-6 hours of sleep per night =)
