And if modestly experiencing a Top 20 Irish charted Single on his first ever release (And I love) wasn’t enough, eBay Ireland are using his music for their current promotion which is outstanding and unheard of for an unsigned act. Fast becoming one of Irelands most sought after performers, Brennan puts heavy emphasis on the importance of touring, and this experience is evident in his live show. The release of this video Gathered 4,000 plays on day one! Previous to this his single Top Chart single “And I Love” received 100,000 + plays – a massive compliment for any musician.
Offaly born, Wayne’s music encompasses a variety of genres that in the hands of many other artists would be over-ambitious, but with Wayne it sounds as if he’s been playing since the day he was born. His enigmatic craft and artistry on the guitar is nothing short of astonishing. Of course it helps to have a musical background- he is self-educated in the art of instrumentation, song writing and singing, which is remarkable, considering his vast eclectic style. His Irish roots are obvious, yet his songs are also infused with such genre-bridging meshes of reggae, flamenco, country, metal and rock. Far from being an undecipherable noise, it’s his willingness to play what comes naturally to him that allows Wayne to share his belief that music is for everyone.
