I fell in love when I started playing with my Mum's acoustic . Mum also taught Banjo and my Grandmother gave me her beautiful electric Hawaiian Slide guitar and Moody amplifier .
Wayne { Waino' named after my Grandad from Finland } played in many original and cover bands in Australia . In my early teens I started jamming with my mates Malcolm Hope Johnson and Dave Woodhouse, Neville Smith,Bob{sitar},Mark{drums},Ed Lee. Later I met and played with Wayne and Brian Knight from Black Night. I toured a large part of N.S.W. and Queensland with talented musicians in and with bands and musicians such as Barry Jarratt , Arnhem, Last Knights Band, Piktures, the Slice, Jim Finn,Suzanne Jobe, Mirage , Mary Jane Boyd, Geoff Bullock ,Theo Comino, Mike Carr , John Jarratt { the actor, singer }, Zee Bazaar, Chillumoz. I played in a band with a senior veteran English drummer Rod Palmer who played with musicians that played with Jimi Hendrix ! .. so close .. haha . I was also in bands that opened the show for groups such as The Angels, JoJo Zep,Ayers Rock,Midnight Oil,Jeff St.John , Goldrush{Emmanuel Bros} Ol' 55,Taman Shud ,Wasted Daze,Dennis Wilson, Mi-Sex, The Reels,Spy Vs Spy, Screaming Jets and more . I worked as a roadie for some famous artists. An injury then restricted my touring.
I have recorded in studios with bands and artists such as A.T.A. with the legendary and gentle Duncan Macguire EMI 301,CBS,A.B.C.Tin Pan Alley with the wonderful Steve Penning, A&M producer Jeff St.John, Atlantic,Video Lab, NuTown Studios,Mark Worrell,Emerald City,Geoff Baker,Damien Gerard,Wirra Willa,S.A.E. and others.
Another one of my main passions is that I love animals as you can see in my photos
All of these instrumental tracks are written and performed by me except " the third stone from the sun experiment " The main theme of the track is a Jimi Hendrix instrumental.
